On February 8, Jiangmen Customs seized 912.79 grams of cannabis in an inbound postal parcel at the Jiangmen International Mail Exchange Office.
In the morning, customs officers manually inspected a parcel declared as “clothes” after finding abnormalities in its scanned image. Instead of clothes, some herbaceous plants were found in the parcel, which, after customs laboratory examination, turned out to be cannabis.
On the afternoon of February 11, customs anti-smuggling officers arrested 2 suspects. The case is currently under investigation.
