In Nanjing Customs District, an export of IPR-infringing glass cups, totaling 26,400 sets and 317,000 pieces, were detained by Lianyungang Customs House on October 21. Now, these glass cups, marking the largest quantity of IPR infringement seized in Nanjing this year, are under further investigation by the Customs.
Through the export inspection, customs officers found that the glass cups were printed with the “Royalex” trademark but the exporter was not an authorized user of the trademark. Therefore, the Customs House contacted the trademark right owner to identify the goods and finally confirmed the IPR infringement.
