The “2020 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition”, i.e. “Auto China 2020” show, was held in China International Exhibition Center of Beijing from September 26 to October 5. Under pandemic impact and economic downturn, this automotive exhibition attracted worldwide attention as the globally top one in 2020.

By September 25, the exhibition drew in a total of 45 batches, 375 pieces of exhibits from abroad, including 28 finished autos worth over 5.55 million US dollars.

In support of the auto show, Beijing Customs took a series of practical measures to optimize the business environment. The Customs, earlier before the exhibition, assigned special coordinators with the exhibition organizers to help foreign exhibitors; provided the services such as “green lane”, “instant clearance” and “24-hour reservation” to enhance clearance efficiency; in line with anti-epidemic requirements, made regulatory innovations as “cloud supervision”, “internet + services” and “remote video inspection” to minimize the logistics cost of the exhibitors; additionally, it closely monitored all clearance procedures at the ports of entry, warehouses and exhibition halls to ensure seamless connection in between.
