Customs inspection of export kiwi fruits
According to Hohhot Customs statistics, from January till October, Erenhot exported fruits and vegetables to Mongolia totaling 84,000 tons worth 104.7 million yuan, up 11.5% and 20.3% year-on-year.
China-Mongolia “green lane” for agricultural trade, featuring simple formalities, fast clearance and low consumption, has facilitated fruit-vegetable exports from the port of Erenhot, China, with positive growth for consecutive 10 months.
Through a special communication mechanism with the Mongolian side, Erenhot Customs House timely collects Mongolian technical measures/risks to agricultural imports from China and guides domestic enterprises to provide certificates of origin to cope with changing external policies. On the basis of the “green lane” with preferential clearance, the Customs House further improves the certification workflow, allowing documents to be archived by enterprises themselves, so as to reduce their clearance cost and increase the exports.
