Nanjing Customs Detains 752 Auto-Fuel Filter Elements for IPR Infringement
08/27/2020

In Nanjing Customs District, 752 export automotive fuel filter elements were detained by Nantong Customs House on August 12 for their infringement on “PARKER” and “RACOR” trademark rights.

In the customs inspection, the “PARKER” and “RACOR” trademarks printed on the export filter elements were suspected of infringing the IPRs registered by PARKER INTANGIBLES LLC with China Customs because the exporter was not licensed to use the two trademarks.

At the request of the IPR owner, Nantong Customs has detained the IPR-infringing filter elements for further investigation.
